Trust the
writing again
Laptops offer students a door to instant relief.
We're restoring the walls — a calm, teacher-led digital classroom, where the work is trusted again.

How a session works
- 1The teacher creates a session
- 2The teacher shares a link with students
- 3When students click the link the classroom browser opens and switches into class mode
- 4The screen goes full-screen, and only the class material is available
Students can close the browser or leave the session — but it's visible to the teacher, just like leaving a physical classroom.

Not an exam lockdown tool (yet)
Stillwell is designed for everyday classes — quick to start, easy for students to join.
It can be circumvented by simply closing it. That's intentional for daily instruction, but it means it's not yet a robust exam lockdown tool.
Use it to run focused sessions — not high-stakes testing.

Our mission
Our mission is simple: improve education by making it easier for teachers to teach.
Removing empty calories is the first step. In a class of 20 students, a teacher has at best
3 minutes per student per hour — those three minutes need to count.
Privacy by Design.
Stillwell is built to be safe and easy to use in everyday teaching. Students don't need accounts, email addresses, or external logins. The platform is designed to avoid collecting personal student information beyond the classroom context, so using Stillwell does not introduce new GDPR risk for you or your school.
